Stove to Cook

Post DR Mission trip Thankfulness #5:
As I am making a peach crisp, my mind is flooded with images of the way the ladies in the DR had for cooking. In the city their were tabletop stoves (many only 1-2 burners worked). Each had a table or basket next to it to hold the few pots and pans, and plastic jugs to get water with. In the rural area the home I toured only had a wood burning area of sorts. With sticks a kettle would be propped over the fire to boil water or make porridge. I have a self cleaning 4+ burner stove, oven, microwave. I can heat up, cook, bake, or make anything with this! Thank you Lord for giving me all I need to make cooking so easy and simple!
